We Did It For You! Women’s Journey Through History

The story of how women got their rights in America, told by the women who were there. It has been touring through California since 2010. The musical is a call to action through a tour of the past and a wonderful way to help generate awareness and start conversations about:

  • Voter registration
  • Anti-discrimination
  • Gender equality issues
  • Violence against women
  • Attacks on our constitutional rights
  • Women in leadership
  • Self-esteem
  • Empowerment

Our goal for We Did It For You! is to encourage women, young and old, to take action and participate in politics, business, and civil rights, to bring about a more balanced society. www.wediditforyou.org

This 45-minute musical has been performed in high schools, colleges, museums, army bases, women’s organizations, conventions, and conferences. Workshops based on the show use the script as an experiential way to start dialogues about cultural constraints and empowerment. No one walks away from the performances or workshops without having learned something and without being entertained. For more information, contact Thea.
