There was a time when women had no rights in America. The musical We Did It For You! tells the story of how it changed, told by the women who were there. In this living history, we learn how women couldn’t own property and used to get longer jail sentences then men. We’ll discuss how our foremothers such as Sojourner Truth and Alice Paul broke out of cultural constraints in spite of patriarchal domination.
